Application of Anti-Collision System and CMS on Shipyard Cranes

Recently, WEITE's LiDAR Anti-Collision System and CMS (Crane Monitoring System) Safety Monitoring System have been successfully implemented on the cranes of a certain shipyard.

The CMS (Crane Monitoring System) Safety Monitoring System, on the other hand, achieves comprehensive monitoring and data storage of equipment operating parameters and operational status, providing a reliable basis for equipment maintenance and safety traceability.

The two systems operate synergistically to form a dual safety guarantee of "active early warning + real-time monitoring". They effectively address the challenges of compact operating space and large blind spots for quay gantry cranes at terminals, avoiding failures such as equipment collisions and container damage, and reducing maintenance and cargo damage compensation costs. Meanwhile, they mitigate safety risks caused by operator fatigue or inattention amid dense pedestrian and vehicle flow and fast operation rhythms, effectively ensuring personal safety and improving operation efficiency.
