Winch Loading System

Winch loading system Mooring systems are often used on jack-up drilling platforms or semi-submersible drilling platforms. Their purpose is to limit and reduce their movement under the influence of wind, waves and currents, so as to reduce the downtime caused by excessive movement. Wind, waves and currents may come from different directions, and the sea conditions are complex and changeable. 

How to efficiently and safely operate the anchor machine for anchoring and positioning to adapt to different sea conditions requires us to seriously analyze and summarize the various operating data of the anchor system when it is working. According to the layout and working status of the anchor positioning equipment, since personnel need to be deployed in each anchor unit to operate the anchor machine, check the status of the winch cable and anchor head during the anchor positioning operation, multiple people need to coordinate and cooperate during the operation of the anchor system and use communication equipment such as walkie-talkies for real-time communication, so more personnel are required. In order to effectively solve the safety problems of the anchoring system during operation, the following suggestions are put forward：

1. Install a force sensor on the guide wheel to monitor the actual tension of the anchor rope;

2. Install a length encoder on the winch to monitor the length of the anchor rope;

3. Install a comprehensive monitoring instrument and remote transmission equipment on the anchor machine operating table;

4.Install the main display screen of the monitoring system in the central control room to centrally display the real-time working conditions of each anchor machine.
