86 Crane Safety Monitoring Systems Delivered to Dalian Hengli Heavy Industry

Recently, 86 lifting equipment units equipped with WEITE's Intelligent Safety Monitoring System have been successfully delivered and put into use at Dalian Hengli Heavy Industry Group. Jointly developed by WEITE Technology and Flender Lifting Machinery Co., Ltd., the system features three major innovative highlights, providing comprehensive protection for the enterprise's heavy-duty operation safety.

1. When the hook initiates the hoisting operation, the monitoring interface will automatically switch to the hook-related data display mode, highlighting core parameters such as hoisting height, operating speed, and lifted load weight to ensure operators have real-time access to key information.

2. Compared with the fixed 3x3 grid display mode of traditional monitoring systems, this system communicates with the PLC. After receiving the hook hoisting signal, it will automatically zoom in on the hook and the operating area below. The screen can be dynamically adjusted according to the hook's hoisting height, completely eliminating blind spots. The dynamic perspective penetrates obstacles to clearly present the surrounding environment, and the screen automatically follows the hoisting height, keeping the hook and lifted load locked in frame without deviation throughout the operation.

3. No panic for sudden equipment failures! Equipped with an intelligent analysis function, the system automatically pops up corresponding fault codes the moment a fault occurs. By referring to the codes, operators can quickly locate the root cause, greatly shortening troubleshooting time and reducing downtime losses.

It is worth mentioning that the installation and commissioning of these 86 units posed no small challenge to WEITE's technical service engineers. The cranes needed to be in normal production during the day, so the installation work could only be carried out at night. To ensure no impact on the enterprise's production schedule, WEITE's technical service engineers proactively adjusted their work rhythm: they arrived in the evening to prepare, started installation and commissioning late at night, and did not complete the day's tasks until the early morning.

From equipment positioning and wiring layout to system commissioning and parameter calibration, no detail in any link can be overlooked. Team members divided responsibilities and collaborated closely: some dedicated themselves to debugging the stability of system programs, while others maintained real-time communication with the enterprise's on-site supervisors, embodying WEITE's "customer-centric" service philosophy in every detail. Even after working late nights for consecutive days, the engineers still approached each unit with a strong sense of responsibility, ultimately ensuring that every delivered system achieved an optimal operating condition.
