At the construction site of nuclear power projects, the safe operation of heavy lifting equipment is directly related to project progress and personnel safety. Recently, WEITE's LiDAR Anti-Collision System has been successfully applied to the semi-gantry crane of a nuclear power construction project.

The on-site operation environment of nuclear power construction projects is complex, with a dense concentration of various mechanical equipment, crisscrossed by steel reinforcement components and temporary facilities, and the movement trajectories of equipment require precise control. In response to this, the LiDAR Anti-Collision System provided by WEITE, which takes "laser ranging + point cloud processing" as its core, is capable of achieving 360°×90° three-dimensional scanning.
The system collects distance data in real time and acquires 3D point cloud data via multi-line laser scanning. When the distance between the semi-gantry crane and surrounding structures, other equipment or personnel approaches the preset safety threshold, it immediately triggers an audio-visual alarm. With a detection accuracy of ±3 cm, the system can effectively address the issue of visual blind spots, enhance the collision risk prevention and control capability of semi-gantry crane operations, reduce safety management costs, and provide reliable and efficient technical support for nuclear power construction.

WEITE's Anti-Collision System has been successfully applied at the construction sites of multiple projects, and WEITE has accumulated rich practical experience in this field. WEITE has always been committed to providing more intelligent and efficient safety solutions for crane operations, facilitating the high-quality development of the industry.
