Recently, exciting major news has emerged in the industry: WEITE's Phase II project of the Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Platform for Overhead Cranes has been successfully accepted at GAC Toyota, and meanwhile, the agreement for GAC Toyota's Phase IV intelligent operation and maintenance project has been signed.

As a leading enterprise in the automotive industry, GAC Toyota has extremely high requirements for the safety, efficiency and intelligence of equipment operation and maintenance in its production and operations. Since the implementation of WEITE's Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Platform for Overhead Cranes at GAC Toyota, it has provided solid support for the safe and stable operation of GAC Toyota's overhead crane equipment with professional services and high-quality technology. It has effectively reduced equipment failure rates, improved production efficiency, and injected impetus into GAC Toyota's high-quality development. The successful acceptance of this Phase II project is a full recognition of WEITE's technical strength and service quality by GAC Toyota, and the best testimony to the cooperation achievements between the two parties.
At the key juncture of the acceptance of the Phase II project, both parties resolutely signed the Phase IV intelligent operation and maintenance project, and this decision embodies profound trust. For WEITE, this trust is not only an honor but also a heavy responsibility.
Serving GAC Toyota, Deeply Engaging in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry
Since the first cooperation in 2022, the cooperative projects have covered GAC Toyota's Line 1 Stamping Workshop, Line 1 Forming Workshop and Line 5 Stamping Workshop. WEITE has delivered multi-workshop and multi-scenario intelligent operation and maintenance solutions in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Currently, the cooperative projects between WEITE and GAC are progressing smoothly. Phase I and Phase II projects have been successfully accepted one after another, and the system has been operating stably in workshop production management; Phase III is advancing in an orderly manner as planned and is expected to be completed and accepted by the end of this year. The newly signed Phase IV project will build on the core functions of the previous platform and add predictive maintenance analysis capabilities for equipment failures, thereby enhancing the intrinsic safety of equipment and maintenance efficiency. This project is scheduled to officially start at the end of this year.

WEITE's Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Platform for Overhead Cranes is not a single-function monitoring tool, but a tailor-made intelligent safety guarantee solution for equipment based on the production characteristics of manufacturing workshops. In addition to the basic monitoring of overhead crane operation data, the platform also specially adds personalized monitoring items such as wheel wear condition and steel wire rope wear condition, accurately focusing on the key wear points during crane operation and reducing equipment failure risks at the source.

WEITE's Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Platform for Overhead Cranes is mainly divided into four major systems
The first is the Operation Data Management and Video Surveillance System. It collects and stores real-time data such as lifting capacity and position, and is equipped with video surveillance to conduct comprehensive real-time monitoring and recording of lifting point areas and hoisting systems. This facilitates on-site inspection at any time and supports efficient management.
The second is the Steel Wire Rope Online Detection System, which accurately identifies damages such as broken wires and wear and issues early warnings.
The third is the Comprehensive Operation and Maintenance Platform, which centrally displays multi-line data and integrates functions such as maintenance plans and inspection reminders.
The fourth is the Wheel Hub Wear Monitoring System, which allows setting the usage threshold for equipment wheel hubs. When the wheel hub reaches the threshold, the equipment triggers an alarm to remind maintenance personnel to implement the maintenance plan.
WEITE will continue to deepen its technological expertise, root itself more firmly in the automotive manufacturing industry and pursue further development. It will leverage more high-quality solutions to help automotive enterprises improve production and operation and maintenance efficiency, promote high-quality development, and provide valuable solutions for the intelligent upgrading of more enterprises.
